Scouts

Blenheim Scout Group has just run an event to encourage young people and adults to join the Group.

Young people had a taste of Scouts by taking part in activities such as decorating biscuits (and then eating them, obviously), knotting with liquorice string (more eating), cooking a marshmallow over a tea light (you're sensing a theme !) - building lego models, miniature pioneering and much more.

With more adults the Group can cater for many more young people. Help, especially with Scouts, 10 to 14 years is very welcome

JOTA/JOTI was a great event held over the weekend, where the young people were able to communicate with scouts from across the world through chat rooms and radios, and were able to build their own mini morse code machines. 

It was a great opportunity for the young people to work towards their Communication and Science badges and we had around 35 young people that attended from the local area (Icknield, Falkes, Dunstable and Ampthill & Woburn).
